Dear One
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope that you are blessed by what you see here.  Please allow me to introduce myself.  I am Kasia (pronounced:  kaa sha), humanitarian, wife, mother, grandmother, and artist.

I can't remember a time when I didn't sew.  As a very young child, I played with scraps of fabric, laces, and trim.  My mother was a true homemaker in every sense of the word.  There wasn't a project that she didn't tackle.  This confidence rubbed off onto me as I played with my dolls, dressing them in my hand sewn creations.  Soon I was attempting to create my own clothes.  Mom encouraged me by acquiring a Singer Treadle sewing machine and a passion was born that has stayed with me to this day.

I married Ron in 1970 and carried on the tradition of homemaking for the jewels in the crown of my life ~ Eric and Heidi.  Throughout their lives, I created their costumes and special occasion attire.  The greatest design challenge came when Heidi asked me to create her wedding gown for the day that Dave joined our family.  And transforming their spare room into Nolan's nursery was a great JOY followed by nursery ensembles for his sister Tatum and cousin Morgan.

Early on, my seamstress and tailoring skills evolved into teaching for Stretch and Sew Fabrics.  These skills then transformed into Wearable Art.  My garments won recognition both locally and nationally.  Consequently, I discovered the joy of teaching and lecturing at guild meetings and area quilt shops.

I turned 50 with a bang!!  My appendix ruptured and I was critically ill.  It was during this time that Spirit touched my heart in the form of mandalas ~ sacred circles.  I began to see circles everywhere I looked and naturally, they found their way into my sewing.  At about this time I was invited to join MArQ ~ Milwaukee Art Quilters group and began the journey into the land of art quilts.

Then I met artist/teacher David Walker, in 2003.  He had a profound effect on my self esteem and a Fiber Artist was born.   I am passionate about my mission to share my Love and Light in the form of LoveLights™ ~ my healing color Mandalas.  I am happy to share them with you here.  It is my hope that you will visit often, and are blessed by the work of my hands.
